Cassa Urraca
Casa Urraca is located in Guasacate, Nicaragua. This area of southwestern Nicaragua recieves consistent swell and offshore winds. The beaches are beautiful and the people are friendly. It is the ideal place to spend some time surfing with friends and family.
Casa Urraca sits on three acres of gently sloping hillside overlooking Playa Guasacate, Popoyo, and The Outer Reef. On the property you will find numerous fruit trees and lush landscaping. Casa Urraca is available for rent and we also offer all inclusive stays that include airport transfers, meals, daily trips to surf, and maid service.
The House
Casa Urraca sits on three acres of gently sloping hillside overlooking Playa Guasacate, Popoyo, and The Outer Reef; On clear days you can see Costa Rica. The property is quiet, breezy, and filled with fruit trees, vegetables, and beautiful landscaping.
Downstairs there is a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove top, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, and cookware. There is also a sitting area with a t.v. and dvd player. The upstairs bedroom will sleep up to six. Outside is a balcony with hammocks, perfect for lounging and watching the surf.
The Waves
There are several beachbreaks, reefs, and points within a short drive of Casa Urraca. Popoyo is a five minute drive from the house. Playa Santana can be reached in fifteen minutes. Hacienda Iguana (Colorado) is twenty five minutes to the south.Offshore wind almost everyday will insure good conditions all day long. April to September is prime time for south swell, but the season can last into November.
