[PT-Low pressure] THIS is a swell call for well overhead surf along almost the entire western facing Indian Ocean coastline. Peak impact is forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, June 16th and 17th along the Indonesian Archipelago. Swell events of this quality are rare with May 2007 being the most notable recent example and this one looks set to deliver a similar punch. Globe trotting surfers have started ringing the camps off the hook and lucky travellers are waxing their guns or putting their boards in bags and getting their cameras out. Currently generating far down in the southern most part of the Indian Ocean the swell will first strike Western Oz before continuing its 2000 mile journey to the Indonesia.
