THREE almost simultaneous south swells are currently generating in the South Atlantic, South Pacific and the Indian Ocean.
This chart is a snapshot from Sunday May 2nd, from left to right: a reasonably-sized, long period, south swell (190-195 degrees) headed towards the USA expected to make landfall on Wednesday. A day earlier for Mexico and below.
The central swell will first impact South Africa, lighting up those famous points before charging up the Indian Ocean and the Indonesian reefs.
The final swell looks set to bring 30ft plus seas to the Tasmanian hell men and excellent conditions to the entire southern reach of Australia.
