No Active Storms
The main spot in San Clemente, early stomping grounds for many professional surfers of the 1980s, actually located at the foot of Esplanade. There's a rock reef on the outside and beachbreak on the inside; fun peaks best with S swells; lefts are usually better. Mushy with high tides, fairly hollow with low tides.
No surfing 11-6pm in summer and 10-6pm on weekends. Spongers rejoice!
