Auld Post Office is situated in the quiet village of Spittal on the main A9 route north, and enjoys a central location to the fast powerful waves at the bays of Thurso, Dunnet, Sinclairs, Murkle & Freswick. With Sandside, Melvich & Strathy Bays being just a further 15 - 20 minute drive.

The Auld Post Office was built specifically for B & B in 2008. We are therefore able to offer a very high standard of accommodation and hospitality, whilst maintaining the ambience and friendly atmosphere of a traditional B & B. A delicious hearty home cooked breakfast is guaranteed to set you up for the busy day ahead.
The well appointed en-suite guest rooms are both comfortable and spacious with flat screen Digital TV & DVD player, wireless broadband, together with many extras. The guest rooms have French doors that lead to the private patio and the gardens beyond. There is a secure area for drying wet-suits and storing surf boards. Guests have their own private front entrance with access available at all times.
Restaurants are available locally in Halkirk and Watten or the many bars and restaurants close by in Thurso or Wick.
