If you missed the others it went from a vid to a Kelly Slater tweet, a personal appearance, and the re-coupling of Nick Roza with his sponsor Reef.

Nick's filmer Chris Papaleo received the communiqué. "Basically Kelly messaged me and asked what Nick's deal was and why he had never heard of him. He didn't understand how someone who surfed so well was not on anyone's radar. He was real interested in having a couple surfs with Nick. After the Pipe contest he came up to Ventura for a week, hung out and surfed with Nick and I."

"Kelly lives in Malibu so it's not too far away he just drove home after... we had about four sessions together and just hungout and talked stories."
