Hurricane Bill's all set to deliver the first solid swell of the season - possibly one to remember for years to come. Peak size may well exceed the comfort range of most surfers and close-out many spots, but for the rippers and those in the know, we want your photos from those spots which are firing.

Whether you're out charging or want a good excuse to sit on the beach, take the camera, take some shots and upload them to MSW for the chance to win a load of great prizes.

The Latest Waterproof Surf Cameras from GO PRO

Performance fins from Futures

And for the best of the bunch a custom shaped big wave board from a respected East Coast shaper.

All you need to do is upload the shot, write a few lines to set the scene (make sure to mention Bill in your description to enter). Magicseaweed and Transworld surf are going to get together and pick the 10 shots that tell the story of the swell and each of the 10 will get prizes from our stash. With a stack of Go Pro Cameras, Futures Fins and for the top photog that board to give away - the competition is officially ON.

bill was not overhyped, Long Island went off hard. RObert moses state park was left underwater and sustained major flooding, with sets coming in at 15 feet or larger overnight. Other beaches on long island had waves from 11-18 feet most of the day, and by evening most beaches still saw 1 or 2 feet overhead. Easily one of the best swells to hit L.i. in a while check out newsday.com for pics

Let me say one more thing before I shut up (STFU). Went to Surf City, NC yesterday. Sideshore winds made it crappy, so then I went down to Kure Beach where the wind was offshore. Pics will be posted under Carolina Beach. Then went back to Surf City (Topsail Island) for an evening glass off, waves were sectioning off much better. I'll shut up now, maybe.

Im in Daytona beach FL and just got back from surfing bill this morning and I dont think it was over hyped. The outside break in Ormond by the sea was 15 ft on big sets and it was kicking out some barrels. Tomorrow is looking like its gonna be fun too.

Bill over hyped. Storms forward speed was too fast. Needs to sit in swell window longer. Sebastian has 100 surfers out just sitting there. Plenty of photogs. where are the pics? Epic? NOT
