About the Nearshore Charts
These charts are generated by feeding the normal forecast data into a complex local model that should predict the swell as it moves right in to the beach. You should get a great idea of which swells will hit which coast best and biggest. Note though that these charts won't show windswells generated inside the chart area - just proper swell travelling in from outside. This means the swell shown here should all be surf producing on the beach.
