I’ve been to the Mentawai Islands 12 times now on charters. Writes Uge. In that time there has been lots of changes in the area. Boats have come and gone, resorts and camps have sprung up overnight, island politics have erupted, whole islands been sold (for nix) and earthquakes have flattened ports.
But one thing has stayed the same that's for sure –- it's the best place on this planet to score consistent fun waves. I haven’t found anywhere else where you can surf every single day, all year round, pretty much no matter what.
...Oh and I did I mention? It's Indonesia, so everything is in your boardies.

It's a price you pay for excellence and Sydney right now is leading the way in being innovative and exciting. Rest of the world should take note, getting up early doors and producing a daily photographic feast is not easy.
What a totally awesome set of images..... im on the verge of booking a ticket already! The only shot you missed/ didnt include was the slow shutter water shot with a 8- 10 stop neutral density filter..... the "dichotemy" beach shot for example..... perfect for that treatment! Most excellent work tho mate......!
