DARREN Handley, the force behind DHD, is the most in-demand shaper on the planet for a reason.

He's won five of the last six world championships and as 2010 starts to unfold it looks like he'll be thereabouts again come the end of the season.

Like your stereotypical Aussie he calls a spade a spade and a winning shape a bloody good one.

Darren Handley at a glance:

"Mick is going to win again in 2010 but have a lot more fun doing it."

"Steph wins world championships without even trying."

"Tow surfing is dead."

"McTavish is an old bastard"

By the sounds of it, both the UK and australia have lame 'indie' folk, and that's worse than any of it.

Hmm... we always have and we thank you for them. Someone had to appreciate them. But your great country has now moved on...to what exactly? Jason DerĂ¼lo? There's one lead I hope we don't follow. Perhaps the old dart should stick to importing the Minogue sisters. You sent us your unwanted...we'll send you ours. Glad you're so accommodating.
