Vudu Shortboard Pro Model 5’8” - 6’4”6’0’’ x 18” x 2“¼
We have worked at refining the shape of our Pro short board model, our riders and shapers have worked together to push the boundaries on this model. This is a high performance short board that will push your surfing to new levels.
Suited for anyone from the WCT Pro to the local ripper and to the up and coming surfers.
Vudu Minimal 6’8’’ – 8’0’’ 7’6’’ x 21” x 2”¾
Minimal – Long, wide and thick with a lot of buoyancy
The trusty old faithful for those flat spells, very easy to catch waves and the perfect board for all beginners.
The extra length, width and fuller rounded nose gives minimals great stability and make wave catching a breeze, you will want to keep this one in your quiver after you move onto a more performance short board for all those flattish days.
Suited for all beginners, weak waves and surfers who have a laid back approach but love being in the ocean.
An effortless ride in week conditions. Ladies are suited to a shorter minimal.
Hybrids – available from 6’8’’ up until 7’6’’7’6’’ x 21” x 2”5/8 swallows tail.
Born from the Mini Mal the hybrid has the same length, width, thickness as a minimal has with a few sooped up extras.
We have kicked the nose more and given the plan shape a more conventional short board shape, still leaving plenty of width upfront to support the heaviest part of your body, your chest and shoulders which equates to a cruiser that catches steep and flat waves with ease.
Suited for:-
beginners who want to push their boundaries and get a great all round ride.
Vudu Spitfire – available from 6’2’’ up until 7’0’’6’8’’ x 20” x 2” ½
So you have learned to ride across the face of a wave on a hybrid, the cross over is the next board in line.
With conventional short board nose, yet keeping loads of width through the centre and running it down through the tail section into a huge swallow tail for turn, this board duck dives with ease and takes you into steeper more powerful waves, extra stability and speed will hook you into surfing.
Suite for –
a) Intermediate surfers who are taking on steeper waves and need the narrow nose to help duck diving , yet have enough width for a easy paddle
b) Older surfer still keen and shredding that is looking for great paddle power.

Vudu Pig Fish – available from 6’2’’ up until 6’8’’6’5” x 20” x 2” 5/8
This board is a cross over between a fish and a modern short board tail, we have loads of width upfront and then double cut the plane shape down through the tail, which allows for a board with great wave catching ability but with the manoeuvrability of a traditional short swallow tailed (very vertical surfing) surfboard.
Suite for –
a) Surfers who surf well but are unfit
b) Bigger surfers 85 – 110kgs who still want to ride a short board for their size

Vudu Big Boy 6’6’’ up till 7’2’’ 6’8” x 19“½ x 2” ¾
This is for all of you that work to hard! A clean performance rounded pin with a lot of beef to give you an easy paddle that can handle anything from flat spells to throaty pits! Clean bottom turns and never ending cut backs, this board will also hold well in the tube.
A great combo between extra volume and performance

a) Weekend surfers
b) Surfer who weighs from 85kg – 110kgs
c) Intermediate surfer scaling down from minimal to a performance short board shape.
Vudu Mini Gun 6’6’’ – 7’4’’7’0’’ x 18” 5/8 x 2” 5/8
This sleek performance design with fullish pin tail will help take any surf from 6’ – 12’, with extra volume through the centre to give you great paddle power to get over the lip and into the pits in serious waves, Indo, J-Bay, Factory, Outer kom… Don’t paddle out without this board.

Vudu Modern Fish 5’8’’ – 6’6’’6’0” x 21” x 2” ½
The Fish is for those small powerless days with all the extra width, right up on the nose, pulled down tightly into the swallow tail which gives the board great drive with superb buoyancy that cruises over the weaker waves. Vudu Modern fish gives you the slightly modern nose shape with more rocker that allows this board to drop into more hollow waves without nose diving and then accelerating down the line.
Ride this board 2 inches shorter than your short board and 2 inches wider.
