A Surf photography exhibition is taking place in the Freshwater Gallery at Dimbola Lodge, Freshwater Bay, Isle of Wight from the 15th to 31st January 2010. See www.wightsurfhistory.co.uk for further details.

Featuring the work of local photographers and surfers, Jason Swain and Paul Blackley, its the first event of the Wight Surf history Project, which aims to document and celebrate 50 years of surfing on the Isle of Wight.

	Well worth a look, some amazing modern photography, and some very interesing history about I.W. surfing. Did you know, Rodney Sumpter was the first I.W. Surf Club President, and the club is 2nd oldest in Europe! He surfed Freshwater Bay in shorts and a rugby shirt in March!!! BBBBRRRR!!!!
