We are now also UK and Ireland agents for BOARDCULTURE Surfboards from Ericiera, Portugal. Boardculture produce the finest quality custom boards through their resident shaper Luke Budd and are also licensed for Xanadu, Sharpeye Surfboards, Yerxa, DK (California) and Joistik.

We also operate a unique surf hire delivery service in the Bude/Boscastle area where we deliver your equipment to your holiday accommodation and collect at the end of your stay. For further details see below.

Over the last few years we have been constantly updating and refining our boards in both shape and construction. These changes have been largely made as result of customer feedback together with our own experiences in using and hiring the boards.

Learner Boards for Learner Surfers

Learner boards for learner surfers, it just makes sense. So many people new to the sport of surfing are given bad advice and sold inappropriate equipment. This is due to a combination of the purchaser wanting to be seen with a 'fashionable' board and the vendor being unwilling to advise them otherwise at the risk of losing a sale.
The reality however is that to learn as quickly and as safely as possible you need a board specifically designed for the purpose.

NCS Softboards provide the bouyancy and stability required when learning and their soft construction provides a great level of safety not present with hard boards. It is not only yourself that is at risk from being hit by your surfboard. Chances are you will be in the water with lots of other people and when learning it is easy find yourself in a collision with other water users.

By learning with an NCS Softboard you will progress quickly and safely through the beginner stages and onto being an intermediate. If you try to learn on a board that is both too short and lacking in bouyancy you will find the learning process nigh on impossible and it could put you off forever. Learn the right way, on the right equipment and you will progress as quickly as possible

Learn to surf with an NCS Surfboard

NCS' mobile surf hire service, based in Crackington Haven, is aimed at giving you the maximum time in the water with the minimum of fuss. Our service includes delivery of all equipment to your holiday accommodation and collection at the end of the hire period. Deliveries or collections are available from 8:00am to 8:00pm giving you the flexibility to surf when you want and where you want.
Our delivery area takes in the localities of Bude, Widemouth Bay, Crackington Haven and Boscastle. If you are not sure if your accommodation falls within this area, or you wish delivery to be made outside this area then please contact us to discuss your requirements.

We can supply soft surfboards, wetsuits, boots and soft roof racks so you can transport your boards to and from the beach on your own car.
