PUERTO ESCONDIDO, Oaxaca (Wednesday, November 12, 2008) – The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Qualifying Series (WQS) 3-Star PXM International Vans Pro kicked off today in classic six foot (2 metre) offshore conditions at Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca, Mexico. Today’s action hosted Round 1 and the first four heats of Round 2.
PUERTO ESCONDIDO, Oaxaca (Tuesday, November 11, 2008) – The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Qualifying Series (WQS) will begin the final event held in North America this week with the PXM International Vans Pro, an ASP WQS 3-Star event, at the famed break of Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca, Mexico.
SAN CLEMENTE, California (Saturday, November 8, 2008) – The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Longboard Tour (WLT) crowned Bonga Perkins (HAW), 36, the 2008 ASP World Longboard Champion at the Oxbow World Longboard Tour event at San Onofre State Beach over fellow finalist Antoine Delpero (FRA), 23. This year’s title is Perkins’ second ASP World Longboard Championship, with the other win coming in 1996.

SAN CLEMENTE, California (Thursday, November 6, 2008) ? The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Longboard Tour (WLT) kicked off the second day of the Oxbow World Longboard Tour at San Onofre State Beach in one-to-three foot (1 metre) conditions. Today?s action saw local event trialists such as Steve Newton (USA), 23, and Joe Aaron (USA), 17, eliminate some of the ASP WLT?s top performers in Round 2, while fellow San Onofre State Beach local Tom Lloy (USA), 22, compiled the highest heat total of the day.
