THE GoPro Dr, Anthony Walsh is back with answers to your photography questions, plus he's picked two winners of GoPro Hero2 cameras from your tips we asked for in the previous GoPro Clinic.
Winner one: Luke Roman
A small trick iI use to setup shots w/o a lcd backpak is to look at the reflection on the lens of your GoPro (if you can see/stand in front of it) I set up alot of sky timelapses like this.. I will set the Go Pro on a tripod or mount it to whatever and then come to the front of it and adjust the angle up/down left/right based on what is is reflecting in the lens. Obviously you will see a dark shadow reflection of yourself but you can still make out based on what is in the surrounding borders of the reflection around you whether you are pointing in the right direction and if you are getting enough sky or whatever your looking for.
Winner two: Ty Grande:
My tip: Shoot from as many angles and locations as possible, and DIY. With the GoPro's high storage capacity, why not get as much footage as possible. And the most creative ideas come from putting on those fins yourself. shoot your friends and spread the wealth for others to enjoy. Peace.
