Boardmasters fun at the mobile Flowrider

The fourth Joe Way Paddle for life is riding a wave towards the Newquay event on the 15th of September.

The 2010 event saw over 200 paddlers of all ages and abilities taking part to do their bit to raise money for their chosen charities.

Team Joe and its supporters have raised over £93,000.00 of which £65,000.00 has gone towards building Cornwall’s first children’s hospice. There are also other Joe Way paddles outside of the county this year all done under the branding of the Newquay toddlers amazing story.

This year another Relentless surfboard is up for grabs and has been signed again by longboard champion Ben “Skindog” skinner. If you want to get into the draw then visit the mobile Flowrider which is at Hendra Holiday Park all this August, its open to non residents and you can check out the board at Skindog’s surf & Flowrider camp running over August in association with Relentless. The lucky winner will be drawn at the September Paddle.

Ben Skinner who is an Ambassador for Joe’s story said “Joe’s paddle is a great Cornish event which brings people of all ages and abilities together in the water, whilst raising money for any charity and all of us at SKINDOG surfboards are proud to support the event”.

Last year the surfboard team made a one off special Joe Way longboard for Matt Joe’s Dad to use and help promote the annual event

The event is run at zero cost as all the equipment, food and raffle prizes are donated so 100% of all the money goes to one of the 20 charities Joe’s story now supports.

The entry fee this year is £10 per adult and £5 per child (under 16’s) however you can also download a sponsor form and raise as much as you want for your chosen charity.

Matt Way Joe’s Dad said “We cannot thank the team at Skindog surfboards and Relentless enough. Joe has always and will continue to inspire new people”.
