Looking at the forecast Indonesia was looking good to deliver swell after swell. Francisco Porcella was keener than hot mustard, he tapped in his digits and strapped in for Padang and moody Desert Point. Then the Guillotine fell on his hand and the trip was over. Just like that.
“It was a heavy slice to the hand as you can see at the end of this edit.” He told us “It was a bad spot to get a deep slice, and it took a while to heal. I was supposed to stay for a month but after a week it was done and I had to fly back and hear about the swells going off after. Call it an excuse to go back and take care of some unfinished business. It’s looking like the Souther Hemi is waking up again and if Jaws or Pipe slow down completely I might have to get down there sooner rather later.”
