East Coast Perfection on the Day of Rest

This swell took few by surprise. By Saturday evening, wetsuits had been dried inside and out, cars packed, and surf spots selected.  4 to 6 foot clean was forecast, and the Atlantic delivered with punctuality, accompanied by sunny spells to thaw out the extremities.

“There was a solid south swell at dawn which tailed off by lunch and then a new SE swell surprised us all by filling in very quickly,” says Pete Hardie from REAL Watersports. “Two different swells with barrels and sunshine all day long. What an awesome day”
