THE vast weather system which was once Hurricane Sandy has moved inland leaving behind a trail of devastation. There were at least 33 deaths on US soil attributed to falling trees, fire, severe flooding and associated unwelcome consequences of high winds. The true cost of the storm will not be known for days but there's no doubt it was more severe than Irene in 2011. New York Mayor Bloomberg said: "This was a devastating storm - maybe the worst we have ever experienced." Out of the worst of the wind, further to the south and north, Hurricane Sandy continued to provide surfers with moments of joy. This album is dedicated to all those affected by this devastating force of nature. © 2013 Jerome Mosetic
