HERE's the second album of your shots from the epic ex-Hurricane Leslie swell which rocked the East Coast in all the right ways. Leslie is like we've said before an odd storm, big and slow but not very powerful, the kind of storm which creates a week of punchy peaks but no XXL contenders. And to say 'we're blown away' by the response would be an understatement, the East Coast of the States is clearly chock-full of stoked surfers driven to document their sessions. Wrap your eyes around this bumper pack of fun-sized goodies, hopefully your shots will be in here and let us know your call for best of the bunch. Looking at the forecast for Leslie we'll be keeping the comp open until after she's done the business in Europe and close the comp the following weekend, September 22nd, 2012. "I will always remember Hurricane Leslie." Says Josh McFadden "I will remember my first pilgrimage up to the Outer Banks, scoring flawless 1st Jetty at Cape Hatteras. Getting huge hollow barrels at S Turns and returning to Folly beach to find my home break The Washout firing at its finest. "But most of all I will always remember the scar I earned at The Washout reminding me that as much joy as these hurricane swells bring me, at any moment they can completely humble me." © 2013 Josh McFadden

The Outer Banks blew minds with Leslie, head-high barrels for days. Like this one at S Turns.
