SOLID swell forecast to greet the opening days of the six week Vans Triple Crown season on the North Shore of Oahu (Hawaii).
Well overhead conditions are expected for Haleiwa to kick off the Reef Hawaiian Pro. The meat of the swell fills in on Monday November 15th and should be more than big enough for the comp to run. Light trade winds and enough sunshine to make the photogs happy should see an excellent couple of days at the throaty, barrelling right. Backing this up is another solid swell for Wednesday/Thursday.
We almost certainly are not going to see a season last year. This may be bad news for the Eddie Aikau competition but last year's El Ninio crazy train of maxed-out swells wasn't great news for the rest of the North Shore. A series of smaller swells will do just fine for classic days at Haleiwa, Sunset and Pipeline.
