Reef ‘Shelter Supply’ Giveaway

by on Thursday 10th July, 2014   5530 Visits   Comments

We’re teaming up with Reef to give you the chance to win two bags of gear from their new Shelter Supply range. All you need to do is tag us into a snap of: The one thing you would bring to a desert island? That’s it, one picture.

Whether it is a surfboard, bowie knife, your dog, or even your mum. What’s the one item you couldn’t live without? Bear in mind this island probably has a pumping left and a right breaking down either flank.

To enter, Instagram @reef_europe and @magicseaweed OR tweet @reef84 and @magicseaweed with the hashtag #ShelterSupply.

Competition ends on 12 noon Zulu Time Monday, July 14th.

This is what you win: 1 squall jacket, 1 duffel bag or backpack, 1 pair of flip flops or sandals and 1 pair of boardshorts, walkshorts or trousers. Then all you need to do is book your ticket. © 2014 Reef

The new range adopts a heavy emphasis on the one-bag travel philosophy, keeping the global surfer light and tight for tactical surf missions around the world. With today’s baggage restrictions, every piece of gear must be well thought out and have multiple functions.

The give away will include two Shelter Supply collections:

- 1 T-shirt
- 1 Squall Jacket
- 1 Duffel bag or backpack
- 1 Pair of flip flops or sandals
- 1 Pair of boardshorts, walkshorts or trousers

All you need for a strictly carry on baggage trip, minimal gear to fit in an overhead compartment.

The stylish Shelter Supply collection is durable enough for life on the road including water resistant bags, surfable walkshorts, adjustable rain shells, and wallets created in the spirit of Reef’s one-bag mentality.

Constructed of water resistant PU coated 600D Polyester, the multi-functional Reef Duffle is a key piece to this collection. It’s a carry-on sized bag with back straps, featuring a wet-dry compartment on the bottom designed to keep clean clothes far from damp wetsuits or laundry. The Duffle is military green with orange pop colour inside, indigo chambray binding. Other key pieces include the Aqua and Full Tide boardshort, the Modern Gypsy cargo short, and the Squall II jacket, that minimise gear to fit in an overhead compartment.

Reefs question behind the new range was ‘what products would you throw into your carry-on bag to go on a trip?’ You’d want simple, multi-functional items. This is the philosophy to inspire Reefs ‘one-bag’ mentality.

To enter, Instagram @reef_europe and @magicseaweed OR tweet @reef84 and @magicseaweed with the hashtag #ShelterSupply and your answer to “What’s one thing you would bring to a desert island?”
