THE Chy Bar in Newquay will be playing host to a fundraising night in aid of Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) on Friday 20th February from 8pm. Head along for an evening that promises to be a fantastic night out with the added bonus of raising money for a great cause!
During the course of the evening there will be live music from local band Even Nine, and the Chy Bar’s resident DJ - DJ Proof, as well as an opportunity to check out a wicked new surf movie featuring Patagonia team riders in beautiful Liberia. There will also be a raffle with chances to win some amazing eco-friendly prizes that have been kindly donated by the evening’s partners, including: EcoU, Eco-Daisy, Green Stamp, Colonel Kilgore Clothing, The Vegebox, Eden Project, Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay, Gaudi’s Restaurant in Truro and Gul*.
Event organiser Jon Voisin is very excited about the night and to be supporting such a great cause, ‘Surfers Against Sewage are an awesome campaign group, with a fantastic reputation for helping to clean up the waters many of us all love to surf in! We’re hoping the event at the Chy Bar will help to raise awareness of the work they
do, as well raise some much needed money to support the campaign’. Doors open at 8pm ‘til late and entry is just £2/3, with all money raised going to SAS!
For more information please contact Jon Voisin at firstname.lastname@example.org or on phone 07531 428 137.
