After alot of blood, sweat and tears and the overused quote of ‘it’ll look good when it’s finished’, we managed to get the place open. A little later than planned but not far off!!! To celebrate the fact we had ourselves a little opening party, with some wine and cheese, some beer and plenty of sunshine!!
For the opening night we’de lined up some artwork from two guys with very differing styles, with the the fluid lines and simplistic stylings of Keiron ‘seamouse’ Lewis and the very intricate and beautiful mixed media work from Dan Crockett.
Laying down some beats and rifts for the evening were ‘the people’s string foundation’, an acoustic trio with some soothing, flowing sounds coupled with some tracks with mind blowing violin solo’s and incredible guitar work.
So we would just like to extend a big thank you to all who came to our humble little shop and supported something new.
There will be many more nights like this over the summer, with new artwork coming and going, so keep your eyes peeled!!!
and if your around these parts before or after a couple of waves drop in and say hey and have a cuppa on us!!!
