On our last day in Nicaragua, the Lord came to me and said, "It's time." So we packed up and headed to Puerto Rico.© 2014 Morgan Maassen
We took a boat from Nicaragua to Puerto Rico and it took 2 months. This is my first wave and I crushed it.© 2014 Morgan Maassen
Our first night in PR, we saw Taj Burrow and he pulled me aside and said, "Mate, I've found the secret. Meet me tomorrow." When we met him the next day, he slipped crocs on my feet. He was right!© 2014 Morgan Maassen
We ran into this friendly creature and he gave us a ride to Venice Beach, California. His name was David Malcolm and made a documentary of our journey called SURF MADNESS.© 2014 Morgan Maassen

I ran into Jeremy Flores and he battled me for two hours. After I earned his respect, he told me, "Bless you, but you must go prove yourself to the Hawaiian islands."© 2014 Morgan Maassen

After an entire year of Morgan and I searching for glory, the moment finally came. I pulled into the PIPELINE and the year's journey went through my head. There were horses, boat rides, womens, Jeremy Flores, and as I was in the tube, Morgan looked at me and threw a shaka. We did it. We found our glory in the sun. We are now famous.© 2014 Morgan Maassen
After that wave we packed our bags to head home. I never saw Morgan again, no one has. Some say he's not with us anymore. I think he made his peace with God. The end.© 2014 Morgan Maassen
Italy has waves and Sardinia has some of the best spots, places you would not believe. Leonardo Fioravanti knows that better than most...
From the Caribbean to Nova Scotia (and maybe even Europe) the forecast is for a medium sized swell to grace your local beach.
Like a lot of the waves in the edit, this one is a grower. Dusty Payne and Yadin Nicol make light work of things you'd sail on by.
Highlight of the day was the 17-year-old brother of local legend Manoa. He blew everyone away.
We break down the reasons why Edouard might be the most interesting storm of the season so far.
Next week we have great looking numbers for Trestles, the Wedge and elsewhere in Southern California.
