Terms and Conditions

Just a few simple requirements before you upload a photo. The most important is you must own the copyright. This means you took the photo yourself or a friend took it and let you have it. We can't accept any photos (however good) that you have found on the 'net or elsewhere if this isn't the case.

In order for us to add the photo to the website you are granting us (and only us) an unrestricted license to use it on the website, in a variety of sizes (for thumbnails etc) as we see fit. This in no way transfers ownership of the copyright for the image to us, this remains yours.

You must, however, agree to indemnify us from responsibility for breaches of copyright that result from your photo being available online in a digital form.

We will accept photos branded or watermarked with your web address or name so long as we don't consider it lowers the quality of the photo. Bear in mind, however, that we credit all photos with a name and a link anyway.

Obviously we expect your submission to be of the surf spot you choose and to be a photo of the surf or surf related. We track the internet addresses of all submissions and will act against anyone abusing this free system...
