I was just wondering, what is a good, cheap camera to start out with? I wasnt to make movies of me and my friends bodyboarding. It needs to be able to be watertight at least a little deep/ Most of the shots will be shorebreak. Any suggestions?

You need a decent seal for surfing/bodyboarding. Needs to be water tight, and pressure tight. Especially for shorebreak. If you take the falls and slam the camera into the sand, and its only rated to 30' or so, it might break it with the pressure from water and ground combined. I have a cheap P&S with a case rated to 160'
