This set up looks amazing considering the aspect that it is on (South facing). I know exactly where this is, as I hiked this stretch of coastline with surfboard in tow in the fall of 2004. Found no waves like these! This is the Sacremento Valley. The Sacramento River mouth is at the top left corner of the photo. Its about a 3 hour hike from Pasagshak or a 6 hour hike from Chiniak. If anyone could ever score conditions like this they would be extrememly blessed. Hardly ever a swell here with no wind. Keep searching!

Ben , I hiked into this area of Kodiak Island 4 times once in June 81 , again in Aug 87 , again in later Sept 87 .. then in April 91 When I rode good waves there , I dont care to say much more , you may of took note-- rock reek in parts off-shore. Also I hiked from Fossil Beach , the reason it took me 2-3 days ! Saludo. from South America. Bob D. Kemp
