captures the moment perfectly. bet that guys balls were in his mouth when that beefy set thundered through. you mention that this guy couldn't make the paddle out, does it reform well enough for the inside section to barrel as well? as it's over boulders?
i would be crying paddling into that...the only time I would be in a situation where I'm amongst waves like this would be if I got stuck in a fucking horrendous rip...respect to this guy even considering the paddle here...he does look a bit hesitant by his body language tho...can't blame him...Although the last thing you need before paddling out into these fuckers is doubt!!!

Crikey! Ireland gets some awesome waves. Shame it's so bloody cold! And, contrary to other poster's opinions, I reckon you would get into one of these monsters. You'd have to be paddling like thrashing machine though.
He was'nt in no hurry as i watched this set come through after are earlier morning surf at it. He didnt get to far he ended up surfing the inside which is sketchy enough over boulders.
