i have 1 pennith for this: From personal experience in the uk waters for many a year, i have barely ever picked up my 6'2 shortboard. (6'2 cos im a baby hefffalump muencheklerr) he is called pigdog and is black but i smashed im up surfing down caerphilly mountain last january when the snow came. in fact i surfed him mroe in that week theni have in the last 3 years in the water...you know why? cos i dont think it is ever 'too big' for my fish! I have surf my 5'8 twinnie nad my 6'0 twinnie pretty mcuh eevry session from 1 foot mush to 6+ hollow beasts (which were sketchy but makeable). I geuss it is mainly a style thing, i dont want to do airs that much, i prefer cocy-esq carves and biiiiiiig cutbacks. But you know, often i have found myself wathcing a longbaorderr wishing that was me if only i had the penniths, then again ive sen some little groms on toothpicks doing so well, and again thinking, if only id surfed from age 5, rather than being an international violinist empressario. Ho hum. So now i just surf my fishies, get great rides and look like i trying to be a retro surf monkey when i get out. but i guess that beats being a bleach blonde, stickered up psoer boy with a shitty tiny board - cos those guys NEVER look happy. Stink faces go home and learn about stoke!!! boom.

Actually the new american trend is to not do moves like this.......this guy is soooo un trendy...what a kook!! If he was a cool surfer (like me) he would spend his sessions bobbing around in the lineup bitching about how people are sooooo un trendy......now where did I put my grossly oversized sunglasses and my baseball cap with the un bent bill.
