Ha! And here comes all the angry comments - Its not photoshopped.. etc.. I love the debates on MSW.. They're usually about the same things everytime but still amusing
damien puglisi189 days ago Reply
unless u are on slide film nearly everything is photoshoped, doesnt mean its fake usually just to take (like this one) glare out of the focal point of the frame. the wave is still real, the guy is still real and i bet this guy is a pretty accomplished photog!

It probably doesnt look right to me cause Im from Florida and the only waves here like that are in our dreams.

slotted: a position having a specific grammatical function within a construction into which any one of a set of morphemes or morpheme sequences can be fit, however, like a key these objects have to fit with some relation to the size and shape of the space. Surfers have a natural resemblence to this shape, gutsliders however.. well they slide on their guts dont they/

We have one of these small river breaks in the UK too...it's called the Severn Bore!
spongerdudette190 days ago Reply
But the colour of the water on this photo is far better than the Severn. Nice shot.
spongerdudette190 days ago Reply
P.S Have you or anyone you know ever ridden the Severn bore? No smutty answers ...please.

I don't even know any welsh people!

Not yet, I imagine that it would be like a surfing version of 'Frogger', having to dodge all the shopping trolleys and old bikes......as well as people in kayaks......grrrrrr! I'm plaaning on giving it a go in Sept/Oct if anyones interested?
Return of Muecnhklerrrr III189 days ago Reply
you do now!!! and YES. watch out for quicksand. best time is April as there are more of them and less a-hoels in the water.
spongerdudette189 days ago Reply
When the bore's at its best, its shown on the local news, so might see you on the TV then, if your feeling brave enough to try.
Yanbo189 days ago Reply
Maybe!! Looks pretty brutal when it throws people onto the banks!
Yanbo189 days ago Reply
Infact there should be MSW section for tidal bores, much like regular surf spots......unless there is already? That'd be pretty cool!
spongerdudette188 days ago Reply
I agree with you there, but I don't think that there is one.
