You guys should take up skateboarding on your belly. You can find knarly transitions to do your insane skatebellyboarding tricks off of when the super hardcore shorebreak is…..not breaking. Demonstrate your keen balance, raw talent and sweet style on land as you do in the water. Probably shouldn’t wear the little flipper things though, I know it’s a part of the ensemble in the water but it might look a little GAY on land (smirk).

It is called an el-rollo or barrel roll or simply a roll. From this position he could do any number of aerial manouvres. An ARS, a revo, invert, backflip or a number of others. That is what the sport is about getting in the barrel and getting airborne.

Give it time Occyfan, the photo has only been up 3 days, it takes at least 4 days for the spongehaters to trawl through the previous booger photos like this and copy the exact text and then paste it on a new thread. According to msw official statistics there are 93699 photos to browse through to find these classic nuggets of literature, that’s a lot of browsing. It would make their job a lot easier if msw added “lid rider†“dick-dragger†etc to the Add-a-tag feature. Maybe they could add “comments posted by insecure shortboarders†while they were at it. But as Will Gayle correctly points out, it generally is only banter. P.S. Will, don’t know the technical term either but I usually refer to that sick move as a Sponge-roll. There is little point asking the rider what it is called as he appears to have his eyes closed for this one. Maybe he is so fully stoked he doesn’t care what is coming next…. or praying he was back in the car park with a cuppa.
