Some people like to rant on about how the photo has been made to look better than it is with efects and so....and its always the guys with disposable cams who dont have the means to do so.So here is my rant kiss my piles knob jockeys and take bow you pro snappers
The darkened edges focus the attention on the subject in the centre of the photo, this photo needs it cos there's a lot going on and lots of white spots that distract the eye. This technique is known as burning in conventional B&W photo development.
