This is 'town landing', aka, Mark's Spot (named after local lobsterman Mark Lambert in the 70's)- this WAS a secret spot as it is usually a long, sloppy longboard wave, coming alive above 6'- Surfer Mag gave it up('like Cactus, W. Aust'.??????????)and some Tiverton dumb-ass bibles n' beans group trying to have a contest here with Squid Abruzzi. Look at various sites, now a mob-scene!
been surfin since 1962! Dude with Google and all the surf reports out there, not much is sceret any more. Just get up early and don't work a 9 to 5. I miss the old days too!
Fireracer! A bunch of us old grayhairs with longboards could cause such a headache, all the posers would go back to Newpaaaht! Lokk at hte havoc that Garrett McNamara caused with his stand-up at Ruggles; he's too old to match the younger dudes, so just go long and drop in! ps- there's still Breyton when it's small and uncrowded because of mile walk at Goosewing!
