Now I know how lucky I am. On a day like this, there is rarely more than 10 people in the water, and no more than 6 on the peak. That is, if it is sunny, green water, and not to cold. If it is raining, only the real surfers are left, and 5 people would be a lot.

24 or so out there? there was a dozen at a spot here on monday, but it was much more spread out than that, I can't even imagine taking off, you'd be bound to hit one person or another
