guys im gonna have to step in an say something here. its getting embarrassing, you've basically been had. when someone said 'yeah sure, you can surf in a lake' they were having ou on. just check the photo. its a lake. not an ocean. lakes dont have waves. see photo. my advice would be to pick another sport. like golf or tennis.

That's the thing about the lake, Railman -- it gets so washing machine-ish that these big peaks form when waves hit each other and a day that says 4ft on the surf report can be 6,7,8,9 ft at points. Not the best surf, and not like a 9ft day in the ocean at all, but still, we take what we can get.
