Thomas Meyerhoffer boards, meant to be light in the middle where volume isn’t needed and a bit of chunk upfront for noseriding but also able to whip it about like a shorter board. Don’t think I would have the nerve to turn up at my local with that puppy, but would secretly like a play when nobody is watching me.
Veeps...I actually got to test ride a 9' 2" Meyerhoffer yesterday at my shark bite break, Walton Rocks. A friend and owner of a local surf shop had it and another one, an 8' Meyerhoffer, with him and we traded boards for awhile. It was surprisingly maneuverable...cut backs were easier than expected...not having been on a longboard in some time. I even managed to do a brief nose ride...limited only by the weakness of the wave...just so I could say "Mein Feurer...I CAN WALK...the nose!"
(Mantis will get it...maybe).
das un mayerhauffer ( ehh im not sure if my german is any good, but the mayerhauffer is some new german engineered longboard thats supposed to perform better, i dont buy any of that bull)
I swear this guy is from Southern NJ. There is a guy with this exact same board, hat, and shortie that has been around all summer. Maybe dude is on vacation...
