Hahaha...Good for you Badger...Didn't think you youngsters were familiar with those old Hanna-Barbera animations. Can you sing the Tweety Bird song from old Warner Bros./Looney Tunes stuff? I can...but that's 'cause I have a DVD purchased a few years ago. You were low by one year 'guessing' my age from available comment(s), btw. Dat much about me is t'wooo...er, true...Spongerdudette!
You have to love the old classics, it's not all about pot smoking towels and talking christmas poo's. However i can't for the life of me remember the tweety song, i'll have to look it up. For me, my all time old school charters would have to be Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd and of course Porky for the "http://tiny.cc/Ykb8u". Chuck in a bit off 80's transformer action and i'm done!----- "t'wooo"----now written like that makes me think, it may be nothing but....you could even spell it "twuuu"....i think i'm just getting paranoid now..:)
Coelocanth I think that I now finally have got your age but I'll keep it to myself. And Sneakybadger the tweety song goes something like this ' I thought I saw a pussycat a creeping up on me, I DID I saw a pussycat'.....can't remember the rest and can't be bothered to try and type it out as a yellow canary with a speech impediment. Seen it somewhere on one of those sky channels recently.
I found the Tweety Bird song on YouTube! Unfortunately, it's in French. That's just WRONG! Someone named CeeCee does an English translation in the comments section...but it's not accurate and it leaves out the speech impediment. Thufferin' thuccotash...I guess I'll have to do it myself...and risk damaging my manly image! Here's the video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbEbOdppJXY&feature=related
Here's THE translation WITH speech impediment: "I'm a tweet widdle bird in a dilded(gilded) tage(cage)...Tweety's my name but I don't know my age...I don't have to worwee(worry) and dat is dat...I'm saaaafe in here from dat old puddy tat!"
HAHAHA!! Coelocanth, that is possibly the funniest thing i have ever seen on here, or possibly anywhere else for that matter! I was in a really crappy mood until i read that (We didn't get the swell that was forecast), thats made my day! Thank you :)
Coelocanth can't get youtube at the moment due to restrictions, but from what I read of your post does that mean that my little song was wrong? I thought that tweety sung that when he was flying around the house and the cat called 'sylvester' I think was stalking him!!!!!! Correct me if I'm wrong......but I'm sure you will :)
As US President Calvin(Silent Cal)Coolidge once said to a woman at a fancy White House dinner...after she admitted to him she had a wager going that she could get him to say at least three words..."You lose!"
Spongerdudette...I've never seen the 'song' you're talking about. That WAS one of Tweety's regular lines of dialogue though. To wit: "I tawt I taw a puddy tat...(dramatic pause...Tweety's eyes blink, get bigger... Sylvester drooling in background somewhere, usually)...I DID,...I DID taw a puddy tat!" And I thought I was the one culturally deprived! Badger...I like hearing that kind of feedback...it makes MY day. And it sure beats hearing those damn crickets!
Coelocanth:- just checked out the lyrics to the song 'I taut I taw a puddy tat' song, and the chorus goes like this........''I taut I taw a puddy tat a creepin' up on me. I did! I taw a puddy tat as plain as he could could be''. So actually I'm not wrong at all but just didn't reel off all the verses. Yes your comment was harsh and I'll think about forgiving you.
We could have had a 'debate' about where bears actually DO shit I suppose...which probably would have drawn in a lot more people and 'banter'. Hey...it's not like we messed up some epic surf scene/pic comments section with our blather. It IS a great pic of a bear though! I think it might EVEN be a brown bear=grizzly...Oh my!
Coelocanth:- we could have a debate on bears toilet habits but I'm not sure if I want to know really. Oh just remembered......yeah I'll forgive you THIS time :)
