cool little spot....nice trees and houses...pretty nice, someone eating chowda on the little cliff :b by the way, who cares if its a sponger or a surfer...looks like hes the only one out there...props on that
its definitely not a bodyboarder, first of all because if that is a person he/she is sitting upright so they couldn't be splashing with their feet behind them. and that long dark shadow under the water is way to long to be a bodyboard. it looks more like a longboard to me. the more i look at it though the more questionable it becomes, personally I think that it is just a person sitting on their board possibly sitting on their board kind of weird or something like that. The only thing that is odd is that the nose of the board is not sticking up out of the water and if it is a person it looks like they are sitting way up on the nose of their board.
At first glance I thought it was a bodyboarder as well. It looked clear to me that he was up on his elbows and kicking with his fins (which would explain his posture and the mini wake behind him). The more I look at it though the more I'm unsure. The wake/splashing seems too far behind him to be any normal sized person I know, then there is the issue of the board shadow being too long....so I don't kno....
Check out the other pic taken the same day. Waves were much bigger than this perspective shows...and the dark object here is probably the surfer shown in the other pic paddling out.
