It was the front cover on Wavelength issue 178 last November. Page 98 is always worth a look every now and again to remind you what a proper wipeout is all about. Worth keeping by loo when you are bunged up. Works a treat.

Correct.This was used as a cover last year in Europe - the pic received no such coverage in Oz or the USA.

some photographers use pole extensions with their cameras helping prevent going over the falls. I don't know if this is the case here but I sure dig this shot. It doesnt get much deeper than that. Check how close the whitewash is to his board. Anymore and he's going through the rinse cycle (if he didn't)
