Btw...Did you know that camels first evolved here in good old(and I do mean old!)North America? It's TRUE! It's in the fossil record. They spread FROM here to Eurasia and South America(Llamas and alpacas are their descendants). They subsequently went extinct here...along with lots of other 'megafauna'...either by failure to adapt to climate change...or by overhunting by early human immigrants from Siberia. Hey Middle East...Your Welcome! They are now a major exotic nuisance/pest in Australia...where they can't be killed fast enough to prevent ecological damage! Hey Australia...will you be exporting camel meat to fast food joints everywhere soon?
