Really dude bodyboarding takes no skill? I come come from the sk8board world which you must understand trick wise has influneced surfing heavily anyway my point being sure when I was eleven yes I made fun of rollerbladers however at 27 years old I cant imagine having any ill feelings towards a bodyboarder thats for the simple fact that I'm a 27 year old man you kind of need to get past shit like that unless of course youre still a boy........

zacy man, go to a board shop, as was recommended. Tell them your skill level. They will likely then ask for your height and weight. Rely on them for the recommendation for a board. The last thing you want to try and do is learn on a board that is poorly suited for your size and skill. Like me, I learned on an old mini-gun in small waves. It was hard. Almost too damn hard.

Or you could be like Chenson and stick to surfing where you will fall down (a lot), paddle around aimlessly trying to look the part, have no skill whatsoever and pretend to be an ace surfer by sitting on your computer trying to fit the part. try a boogie board. you cant fall down, you can do the opposite of what you tried to do and nobody ever knows the difference, it takes no skill whatsoever AND they are cheap in comparison. WARNING.....you will find yourself resenting surfers since you took the homosexual route.

The English people had adequate representation in their own government. So why revolt even if the taxes are high. Perhaps thats the price you pay for living in the worlds most powerful empire (of the day). We on the other hand...well thats a different story. Eh dude - I dunno why you have decided to get all nationalistic about this wave - or how its being surfed. I mean first the actual wave probably started its life thousands of miles away. Second there are waves of equal and better quality all around the world and furthermore there are surfers of equal and better quality than american surfers around the world. So basically the only thing of any real significance about this wave that is American is the fact that it happened there. This is a purely geographical point that bears no real nationalistic virtues. And who knows where the surfer is from. So to reply to your 'only in America' comment, I think you are full of sh*t
