r u kidding me. Thers not only decent wave in wales is broadhaven, gower reefs r shit, mayb ul get a good 1 at mussle beads, n mayb n ok lump off the sandbar at langland, but apart from that welsh surfing is weak.

These comments are weeeeeeeeirding me out. That wave is just a regular fat stormy lump, nothing special about it at all! even for Langland (which isnt surf starved, it gets plenty of good waves). The thing that is great about this pic is that Larry Burt style bottom turn, wish I had a pic like that of me.

Wales..small crowds. solid.Is this wave in the middle of nowhere? My last cold water mission was NZ: camping,long drives, lonely waves. Wales/Ireland must be somewhat similar? Does Ireland block the swells? Respectively, Oahu/Kauai block Maui. Wales only gets s or sw swell? what direction is this swell? Perfect, fun size surf.
