well, the conditions down in barton-on-sea are roughly similar today... there's water, sunshine, no wind and hardly anyone in the water. just missing the coral, the warmth oh and the swell... close enough to get in the water and pretend though! hooorah

Months of hard saving. Days of tough,sweaty travel. Hot, heavy nights and bugs with a death bite. Hours of waiting in "open sewer" bus stations and crammed into buses made for midgets. Lugging all your own kit through a sticky, pricky jungle. When you go through all that you don't let 'em go by unridden. I guess these guys flew straight in and pranced about on a posh yacht then. Silver spoon up your ass don't help you float! It's a gnarly lookin fucker but one of them should have gone. That's all I'm saying.

Yeah, easy to say from behind your keyboard... you have no idea what their situation was, lets try not to judge. You just sound ignorant and bitter that possibly they are better off in life than you. Most surfers I know are not nearly as judgemental, ignorant or critical as you seem to be. Its a nice pic of a heavy, not well lined up beast, lets leave it at that.
