Me and my buddys lived on this beach and reguarly surfed the breaks of Wainui, (stock route, pines, makas also mahia). True, this place has a history of sharkys but I never had any bother. I'll say hi to some loco's Limo Ritchey, Razza, Salty, Brent, Matt Todd and all who drank in the Sand Bar in 2003-4. This is a very special place...Happy daze.

Nice wave and the Holden Commodore is the surfer's wagon of choice.. I had one of those in NZ... Happy days.
