Haha. I got tumbled too a few times!! And yes i wish the sun was out but cant miss out on sick waves...just put the iso up a little more so i could still keep the shutter speed and aperture high...

Seen that angle a few times normaly followed by a wee tumble on to the beach. Nice pic, but next time wait till the suns out.

Sorry for sounding like a Debbie Downer, because I was really excited about going..then when we got to the water, the crowd was unreal...santa monicas the same way....only non-crowded beach was when we went on base to point magu, in Ventura........Tubes just like this one:)

When I went it was chest high, and nut to butt in the line up, SOOOOoooo crowded! I didn't get one ride to myself(really got a couple), and everytime the tide rolling back out would just f*cking nail me.....ur on the line and ur watching a wave almost as big as the one ur on, then BLAM, ride over!!!!! Kinda frustrating!!!! Me and my pal said f*ck Newport, and went back to SD....! SERIOUSLY crowded:(

When I went it was only chest high, and nut to butt in the line up, SOOOOoooo crowded! I didn't get one ride to myself(really got a couple), and everytime the tide rolling back out would just f*cking nail me.....ur on the line and ur watching a wave almost as big as the one ur on, then BLAM, ride over!!!!! Kinda frustrating!!!! Me and my pal said f*ck Newport, and went back to SD....! SERIOUSLY crowded:(
