hope it didn't stink up the whole beach like it did when a whale washed up on my beach in NC. (I have a photo on here) Pretty much had to hold your nose within a 1 mile radius.

Autopsy revealed some black carbon fiber shards inscribed with the words ADY GIL stuck in the blow hole !

Oh...THIS is what got you started Joggly!...I forgot I even put this here. I was kinda amped up at the time by the possibility of finally getting some good hurricane swells yesterday(It is 12:20 AM Friday now...still amped...but disappointed by Thursday's waves/conditions)...after a miserably long, hot, humid, FLAT summer. I was just messing in my ignorance. Didn't mean to stir up what sounds like a sensitive subject for you. Sorry if I offended you.

Don't get me started ...Navigational Rules do not grant privileges...they impose responsibilities. It's the responsibility of the more maneuverable vessel to stay clear of the less maneuverable vessel. Clearly both vessels were under way...just look at the wake of the Ady Gil. The fact that Bethune put his "sports car like" trimaran in the vicinity of a huge cumbersome fishing vessel, and can't manage to stay out of the way ???
