That's got to be a tow-in at Elbow Ledge, or whatever that place is called out in deep water. Nobody could paddle in to that size wave and be that far down the face at that stage of the wave.

ok that pic is totally bogus... i mean its an awesome wave dont get me wrong, but i am from charlestown, RI and i was out at matunuck on september 5th, and the waves were choppy and chest high at best. there is no way that picture was taken from matunuck on september 5th 2010. P.S. it was a sunny day that day...

Take all the ego's and can it. Know one cares. I have been all over and there are some great surfers in RI. What makes them great is they do it because they love it and they do it because it's fun. It's not, nor ever has been, about handling it . And I might add that the Maryland guys ,though a little localized, have a ton of stoke and some world class rippa's. Handle it....Thats some funny crap. Trash talking Kooks should stay out of the water until they find some soul.

Definitely not Deep Hole (Matunuck), but old Navy dump/fill site approx. 2/3 mile south of K-39 (Point Judith breakwater); doesn't barrel like Elbow Ledge, Warren's or Breyton Point, but biggest drop on east coast.....guys from NY are selling themselves on our spot, but brothers have some impressive credentials...not that any of you will ever see or surf it, but Mass. and R.I. are about to approve a massive wind farm (Texas Tower reef complexes) between Cuttyhunk and Goosewing Beach (arguably the closest to a miniature Sunset break on right coast. It'll desroy all large lines going from Horseneck Beach to Sakonnet ledges......get involved!

I don't get it al. why would you start directing everybody everywhere? no one else does this on this site. why are you a verbal map? you don't even surf these spots. barreling waves? i just don't get it. you should stay off the computer. have fun in the surf, if you catch some gems with no one around why direct everyone you see there? i just don't get it. and "like sunset"? what?
