Probably been getting up for dawn patrols from before you were born smart arse. I've been in the water before the sun has risen many times and love it. I'd still like to know why you've posted what looks like an inland sunrise (the foreground doesn't look very coastal to me) on an all things surfing website, just a question, no need to get upset about it...

If you've ever got your lazy, punk ass outta bed in time for a dawny and seen the sun rise through the fog then you may know what this has to do with surfing. It's not all NSPs, Billabong hoodies and bleached hair ya nae. ;p
