lol when i first seen jaws on riding giants i was like wow how the beep beep can people surf that, but then i seen cortez bank and was like woooooowwww, thets crazy, ill have to go there some day
sean moody Oct 28, 2008 Rating: 21
no ofense to all you laird hamilton fans but i think that greg noll surfed the biggest wave ever and he was out there in the 100 year storm by his self in the biggest waves ever recorded so thats my reason for thinking that and on a bord with out a leash!
HazoldEdmonds Feb 20, 2011 Rating: 1
i'm not saying that greg noll isn't a legend but he admits on riding giants that he wouldn't even attempt some of the stuff which laird does, but who cares anyway, respect to both of them.
plugusmaximus Mar 2, 2009 Rating: 4
Riding Giants? One of the best movies ever, but you can hardly rely on word of mouth accounts of how big a wave was! I'm sure it was massive, but you can't say it was the biggest ever, now can you?

cortes bank begs to differ haha

spongermoody Jun 5, 2008 Rating: 30
This has gotta be in contention with the biggest wave ever surfed... Even if isn't, Laird Hamilton is a god.
